New Way are publishing a week-by-week, on-line reflection on Mark's Gospel under the title, "Mark's alternative economy".  Bishop Peter Price of Bath and Wells is a leading figure in New Way of Being Church.

It is written for use by …
•   Small Christian communities, home groups, cell churches etc.:
    Each unit has a brief reflection, discussion questions and suggestions for Prayer and Action

•   Preachers: Each unit contains Background Information, and opportunities to Go Deeper.

The Reflections will explore Mark's Gospel from an understanding that it was written to a small household church …
•   About the nature of its life as a community of disciples
•   From the 'underside' of society, from among the poor
•   With the intention of producing a communal response.

The series will provide an opportunity for groups to consider
•   Their own 'economy' of life as 'households of disciples'
•   How to respond collectively rather than solely as individuals.

The final report of the working group on review of reader ministry, READER UPBEAT, can be downloaded as an rtf file from the Church of England web site.

The various orders of service can be purchased from Church House Publishing and other bookshops.  In addition much of the Common Worship Liturgy can be downloaded in rich text format (rtf), which can be read by most word processors and acrobat (pdf) format.

The Lectionary can be purchased from Church House Publishing.  It can also be downloaded in a format suitable for importing into Microsoft Outlook™ or Excel™ (as a spread sheet).  The Outlook format is particularly useful as it can be downloaded to many PDA's from Outlook.

There is a free version of the Outlook format of the lectionary available at almanac.oremus.org/lectionary/2010.html.
 Downloading the web page gives a browsable version of the lectionary.  Click on the reading and a pop up window will give the text of the reading.

In the USA there is also a web based version of the Lectionary, published as a calendar.  This material is published by Kelly W Pucket and is based on the Episcopal (ECUSA) Eucharistic Lectionary and could differ at times.   There are many links to Readings for various Lectionaries and a listing through to 2010 (not yet available for outlook from the c-of-e).
